Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to luxury car rental services provided by Meridian Classe
  • "User" or "Client" means any person engaging our rental services
  • "Vehicle" refers to any automobile provided under rental agreement
  • "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions plus the rental contract

2. Rental Requirements

To rent a vehicle from Meridian Classe, you must:

  • Be at least 23 years of age
  • Hold a valid driving license for minimum 2 years
  • Provide valid identification (passport or Singapore ID)
  • Present a credit card for security deposit
  • International visitors must provide International Driving Permit

3. Prohibited Uses

Vehicles may not be used for:

  • Illegal activities or transportation of illegal goods
  • Racing, speed contests, or testing vehicle limits
  • Subletting or unauthorized third-party use
  • Transportation for commercial purposes without prior arrangement
  • Off-road driving unless specifically authorized
  • Driving under influence of alcohol or substances

4. Insurance and Liability

Comprehensive insurance is included in rental rates. Client is responsible for excess amounts specified in rental agreement. Additional coverage options are available. Client remains liable for damage resulting from prohibited uses or negligence.

5. Payment Terms

Payment conditions:

  • Full payment required before vehicle collection
  • Security deposit held on credit card
  • Additional charges for excess mileage or late return
  • Damage or traffic violations charged to credit card on file

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms:

  • 48 hours notice: Full refund
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours: No refund
  • Special occasion bookings may have different terms

7. Limitation of Liability

Meridian Classe provides vehicles in good condition but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Liability is limited to rental fees paid. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, delays, or inconvenience beyond our reasonable control.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Singapore law. Disputes will be resolved through Singapore courts. Mediation is encouraged before legal proceedings.
